Vocalist: Garrett Medlock

Garrett Medlock, tenor, is a second-year graduate student and student of Professor Jamie Flora. As a singer with a passion for opera, art song, and choral music, Garrett has sung the lead roles in UNM Opera Theater's 2022 and 2023 productions of Albert Herring and The Magic Flute. They were also honored to be one of several graduate students featured in the chorus of Santa Fe Opera's October premiere of This Little Light of Mine. In addition to their operatic experiences, Garrett sings with the UNM Concert Choir and holds positions as a section leader with St. John's United Methodist Church and Quintessence: A Community of Singers. A native of central Illinois, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Utah.
