Vocalist: Grace Weaver

Grace Weaver

Grace Weaver is a graduate student studying Vocal Performance and Music Theory at the University of New Mexico. Ms. Weaver grew up in Portland, OR, graduated from Oregon State University in 2017 with a double major in Music: Vocal Performance as well as Speech Communication. From 2018-2020, she was awarded the vocal area graduate teaching assistantship. In 2019 she sang Ruth in The Pirates of Penzance with the UNM Opera Theater. Currently, she is studying with Dr. Olga Flora and performed the leading role of Queen Dido in UNM’s production of Henry Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. Last summer she sang Second Lady in Die Zauberflote with Steamboat Opera Artist Institute. She currently holds the musicology assistantship, and next spring she will be singing Nancy in the UNM production of Albert Herring. In her free time, Grace enjoys cooking and hiking in the Sandia Mountains.
