Psychology Convocation: SPRING 2025
The Spring 2025 Department of Psychology convocation ceremony will be held at the UNM Johnson Center, 1 University of New Mexico Albuquerque, NM 87131, on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 4:30 pm.
SPRING 2025 CONVOCATION PROGRAM: Will post closer to the event date.
CONVOCATION SCHEDULE:
• 3:00 pm: Sign-in table for graduates will open. Must be signed in by 4:00 pm
• 3:45 pm: auditorium will open for guest seating
• 4:00 pm: students must be signed in and in place for line up and further instructions
• 4:30 pm: Ceremony will begin promptly with the commencement procession and will last approximately 1.25 hrs.

• Terri Moyers: Recognition of Psychology Departmental Honor’s Program Candidates
• Derek Hamilton: Recognition of Master’s Degree Candidates. MS Degree Candidates will read their acknowledgements and will be hooded by their mentor.
• Derek Hamilton: Recognition of Doctoral Degree Candidates. Ph.D. Degree Candidates will read their acknowledgements and will be hooded by their mentor.

HOW TO SIGN-UP
To participate in our department convocation, please sign up at graduation.unm.edu by May 12. 2025.
• Graduates with special needs should request appropriate accommodations when signing up to participate. The deadline to request for accommodations is April 4, 2025.
• Graduate Students must submit acknowledgements to be read at the ceremony
• The number of guests you may invite will be 10-max.
PARKING: Parking for your convocation on Friday, May 16, 2025, your attendees will want to pay for parking in either the Cornell or Yale parking structure. They can also pay at any surface lot pay station space on campus. The rate for hourly parking is $1.75 per half hour or $3.50 per hour. Attendees with a valid, state issued handicap placard can park in any regular permit space or pay station space, (no charge), when displaying the placard. The exceptions are reserve, official and service vehicle spaces, as well as fire lanes and loading zones. I am including the link to our Transportation map for your convenience.
