There is a reception with food starting at noon and the actual ceremony starts at 1:00.  The ceremony usually lasts 30-45 minutes.  Caps and gowns are not required at our department convocation but if you’d like to purchase regalia, please go to the following link:  https://bookstore.unm.edu/category/10006815
(FYI: in the past, the PhD and terminal MS graduates usually wear regalia as they are hooded by their dissertation/thesis advisor.  Bachelor degree recipients are usually 50/50 regarding regalia or just nice clothes.)
